Born on July 17, 1958, Lori lived a life of compassion and grace. She was a devoted wife to Jerry, who she was united in marriage to on August 27, 1977. They shared 47 years of marriage with joy and unwavering support of one another.
As a mother, she nurtured her children Nathan (Holly) Sidlo, Melissa (Logan) Waldron and Sara Sidlo with endless love, encouragement and care, always putting their needs above her own. Her four grandchildren, McKenzie, Charish, Noah and Tyson, were the light of her life, and every moment spent with them was precious to her. Her home was a sanctuary of love, where family and friends came together to laugh and create memories.
She was a treasured sister to Connie (Darrell) Schukei, and Doug (Jeannie) Fisk. She adored her nieces and nephews Cory (Steve) Albrand, Stuart Schukei, Steve (Deidre) Schukei, Michael (Teresa) Schukei, Stacy (Michael) Gibbons, Brian (Thera) Fisk and Angela Fisk as much as they loved their Aunt Lori. She also deeply loved her many great nieces and nephews.
Lori was a woman of strong Christian faith, which guided her throughout her life. She was baptized on August 17, 1958, and confirmed in Christ on April 15, 1973, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Holstein. Her unwavering belief in God's love and grace was evident in her actions and the way she treated others. She found great joy and comfort in her faith, and it was a source of strength during challenging times.
Lori will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love for her family will continue to inspire us all.
