

Louis R. Keller Jr., age 83, passed away at his home in Sauk City, WI on Fri. Jan 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Pleasant Dale, NE. on Jun. 10, 1933 to the late Louis and Bertha (Siedoff) Keller Sr. Louis was united in marriage to Beverly J. Wiseman on July 31, 1951. Together they owned and operated the Trade Winds Motel in Childress, TX and the Jan-Lin Motor Inn, Rogers, AR. Later, Louis followed his love of driving and drove over the road truck for many years. He was proud to have driven millions of miles accident free. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; 2 daughters, Gail (Michael) Howard of Rogers, AR., and Cheryl (James) Kolf of Sauk City, WI; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Louis Keller; 2 sisters, Viola (James) Formanek and Gladys (Dempsey) McDaniels and a brother, Clemens (Mary Jane) Keller. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Fri., Jan. 20, 2017 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512, where a visitation will be held the evening before from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A luncheon will follow the service at the Autumn Wood Community Center, 5633 N. 26th Place, Lincoln, NE. A Funeral Mass will also be held at 10:30 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, WI. on Tue., Jan. 17, 2017 with visitation in the south lobby one hour prior to the service. The family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness and support given to Louis and his family. Special thanks to Father John Blewett, Father Pedro Escribano, and Father Christopher Padilla for their weekly visits, spiritual guidance and prayers, Lori Fargo for her laughter and faithful care giving of Louis, Amy Crosby for keeping him looking sharp, our neighbors for their friendship, kindness and willingness to assist, the parishioners of St. Aloysius for their friendship and prayers, Dr. David Adams, Dr. Theodore Parins, Dr. Clay Dean, Home Health United and Louis' Hospice Team for their support and care, and for all of those who have touched Louis' life in so many ways these past two years.
