Miranda R Kumm

Miranda Renee Kumm, 32 of Lincoln NE passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2017. Miranda was born in Lincoln Ne on February 11th, 1984. She was called a miracle baby being the smallest baby born that year to survive. Miranda was the world’s best mother, wife, and daughter. She attended Southeast High School graduating in 2002. She was united in marriage to Dan Kumm II on September 12, 2006, together they have one son Trevor who was the light of her life. She and Trevor spent countless hours together exploring the parks in Lincoln and just being together. Miranda was a source of joy to all who knew her, so loving and accepting of all people. She was a devoted friend who would do anything to help out. She worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart on 27th and Superior for 8 years. She is survived by her husband Dan and son Trevor; beloved pets Eli and Moose. Parents Bobbi and Randy Pettinger. Mother and Father in law Dan Sr. and Beth Kumm. Brother and sister in law Brandon Anderson (Brittany), sister and brother in law Kim Cznarick (Nathan); brother in law Alex Kumm. Grandparents Robert and Laverne Kumm, Mary Ann Pulse, Richard Blecha; Great Grandmother Lola Godden. Aunts and uncles Kerry Heider, Crystal Lewis, Kathy Bemis, Effie Pettinger, Richard Harms, Tom Woodman, Linda Moody, Bev Lyman (Alan), Jacqui Roat (George), Brenda Petrzilka (Wayne), Brenda Burcham (Mike), Richard Blecha Jr (Tami), Jarrod Blecha, Dawn Pulse, Patty Brouwer and numerous nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles. Miranda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barbara and Butch Konsella, Clarence and Dorothy Pettinger, uncle Raymond Pettinger, and aunt Barb Woodman. Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 2017 at 3:00 Pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln NE. Visitation: Sunday, January 22nd, from 3 to 7pm.
