Phyllis I Cox

Phyllis I Cox. 81, of Lincoln, NE passed away on February 25, 2017. She was born to Clyde and Mabel Imus on October 8, 1935 in Nance County, NE. She graduated from Belgrade High School. She met John (Jack) Cox in 1955. They were married on May 26, 1956 in Belgrade, NE. In this union they had 3 children. Norma Cox, Linda Jantzen, Darrell Cox. She worked 27 years in the Lincoln Public School in the food service system. Phyllis was actively involved with church activities. Survived by her husband, John (Jack) Cox, Daughters: Norma (Buster) Cox, St Paul, MN, Linda (Glen) Jantzen, Plymouth, NE, Son: Darrell (Rita) Cox, Lincoln, NE. Grandchildren: Melissa (John) Weyer, Josh (Jess) Jantzen, Andy Cox, Tiffany Cox, Max Griffing, Lillie Griffing. Great-grandchildren: Colton Jantzen and Austin Weyer. One sister and three brothers. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her Parents, Clyde and Mabel Imus. In-laws John and Lillian Cox, Brother Larry, and Grandson, Justin Jantzen. Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at St Luke United Methodist Church 1621 Superior, Lincoln, NE.
