Sara Lynn (Kurtenbach) Sutton passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 45.
Sara was born April 8, 1980 to Russell and Gale (Zeiner) Kurtenbach in Parkston, South Dakota. She grew up in Parkston and graduated from Parkston High School. After high school, Sara attended Dakota State University for a short time before entering the workforce and becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.
On August 15, 2020, Sara was united in marriage to Scott Sutton. To this union, they had two fur babies, Gilbert and Morgan.
Sara was a Certified Nursing Assistant in both Madison, South Dakota and Lincoln, Nebraska. In recent years Sara was a caregiver to her first "Scott".
Sara enjoyed playing cards, singing karaoke, playing pool, The Minnesota Vikings, Nebraska Huskers, and most of all she loved spending time with family and friends; especially facetime video with her two nephews.
Sara is survived by her husband Scott, mother; Gale Kurtenbach of Parkston, SD., sister; Doreen Kurtenbach of Lincoln, NE., brother; Phillip (Taylor Fender) Kurtenbach of Yankton, SD., nephews; Theodore and Hunter Kurtenbach of Yankton, SD., grandmother; Arlene Zeiner of Willmar, MN., mother-in-law Patricia Sutton of Blue Hill, NE, sister-in-law; Linda (Sutton) Daulton Nelson, NE, to include several uncles, aunts,cousins and a whole host of friends.
Sara has been reunited in Heaven with her father, grandparents, father-in-law, and all past family and friends whom have gone before her.

A visitation for Sara will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Cathedral of the Risen Christ,
