

Sharon was born on June 18th, 1938 in Beatrice, Nebraska to her parents, Vivian Dittoe and Clyde (Bud) Dittoe. She graduated from Beatrice High School in 1956 and went on to work as a Communication Technician at AT&T for many years which gave her the ample opportunity to travel. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness and generosity. She had the heart of a Gypsy and loved to travel the world and try new foods and experiences along the way. She was a dedicated member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed dressing up as “Fancy Pants” the clown.
She is survived by her children Kelly Covrig, Robin Harmon, Dena Katz, and Clydeen Katz Schmale, her grandchildren Cheyenne Wickizer, Joe Peterson, Chad Miller, Stephen Brindley, Jessica Katz and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ron Dittoe, and Son, Jay Katz.
A funeral service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on March 14th, 2025 at 10 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE.
