Stephen Paul Beckman

Stephen "Steve" Paul Beckman, age 75, of Lincoln, Nebraska peacefully passed away at his home on Friday, November 1, 2024. Steve was born on September 20, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska to William and Izetta (Lipskey) Beckman.

Steve grew up with four sisters and three brothers. He worked at Hillcrest Country Club where he loved to work in the yard. His yard at home was full of ornamental gnomes - some the size of a toddler! He enjoyed models, old cars, eagles, elephants, Harley Davidson, and Playboy magazines. Everything had a spot in his home and he let you know if it wasn't right. He will be remembered by his kids for his chapstick and hankies and will be remembered by Sherry for his sexy eyes. He loved his kids and grandchildren, but the biggest part of his heart belonged to Sherry, who loved and cared for him like no one else. His children are so very grateful to Sherry.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sherry Nielsen; four children, Jeff (Jennifer) Beckman, Donna (Rocky) Fleming, Becky Johnson, Sam (Lori) Allgood; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Michael, Timothy, Randy; four sisters, Jane Tingley, Julie Siefker, Jeannie Beckman, and Jenni Rider. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
