Willard Rodell Parsons, formerly from Nebraska passed away in Boliver Missouri on March 17, 2022. Born to Harold and Gladys Parsons on January 22, 1927, in Valentine, NE. Willard attended school in Valentine, NE up until the age of 17 when he entered the Navy. He served in the Navy during WWII upon USS Wesson.
Willard married his deary, Agnes on July 29, 1947. They shared in the joy and passion of caring for many foster children up until being able to adopt their own four children. Willard was a successful business owner with Agnes and worked many years in the auto body collision industry. Willard and Agnes ended up in Missouri in 1980 where they continued to live their simple, happy lives on a quaint little property close to Lake Pomme de Terre lake.
Willard was an avid outdoorsman, he was a humble, hardworking man filled with compassion, patience, strength, and energetic love for life. He loved to hunt, fish and being out on the lake. His dog, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the absolute light of his life.
Willard is survived by his companion, blood hound dog, Oscar, son, Kevin Parsons (Lynn) of Wheatland, MO, son, Dan Parsons of Lincoln, NE, daughter, Kelly Perry of Springfield, MO and daughter, Lori Ruble (Lincoln) of Lebanon, MO. 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Willard is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Parsons. His parents and many family members. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th St., Lincoln, NE.
