
I haven’t been able to wrap my head around you being gone. 
I have so many regrets and moments of I should have or could have. 
I know for sure that you are in a better place and for that I  am at peace. 
I also thank God for the moments and memories we were able to share together. 
You will always be a mom to me.
 I treasure those moments God used you to speak into my soul and guide me to make the right decisions.
I have shared so many moments with you but one that stands out to me is the day that Dioniris was at her graduation celebration and I was sleeping in her room all alone 
and you came in and we layed together at 5am just talking and talking about so many things. Little did you know that I would always cherish that day and morning .we spent the whole day just expressing ourselves and being so vulnerable. 
I love you so much and I am thankful I met you. 
I wish I could have set my pride and my not wanting to see you sick to be able to see and hug you. To be able to have you push me one last time because you were laughing so hard.

You guys will always be my home away from home. 
Thanks for all your love and for assuring I always had something to eat. 
Ps. Thanks for clearing my back lol and always going out with us at night when we wanted to go to the beach.

Cuando un ser querido muere,  no podemos  evitar sentirnos triste. Se deja un vacio en el corazon, pero  nos conformamos que ya su alma descansa en paz. Yo no te digo adios sino hasta luego, porque se que asi Dios lo disnpondra. Siempre te recordare.

Our deepest condolences to you all. Anai was so special to us. We will forever remember what a beautiful heart spoken person she was. She watched over us for so many years, she was like another mother to us. We will never forget the last time we saw her, she was so happy to see us and gave us the biggest and tightest hug and said we are fat with a smile on her face lol, she was always so honest. Those beautiful moments and memories with her will always be cherished in our hearts. She will forever be missed. We pray God pours his love and gives you all strength during this time. She is in a better place and we will all meet again with her some day.

Anai, was my sister, a good and caring sister. I have known her since 1998 and her face has not changed. Her personality has not changed. Caring, always feeding me when I go to her house, even when she was not well. I will miss her very much.  I will miss praising God with her at her house.

Anai was always smiling, full of life and most of all full of love towards everyone. 

Going to church and growing up sharing a lot of great memories with her and her family, one always sticks out the most. . . 

One afternoon  while getting a hair cut at her salon, somehow we were talking about  a story concerning an "Essssscalatorrrrrr" all I can remember was her big bright smile and how much we all laughed. It took us a while. Even now writing this makes me smile.

I saw her about a month ago, I didn't know that would be the last time I would get to hug her. I remember that night when I got home how sad I was, for the first time I feared not seeing her again. 

But one thing for sure is ... she loved us all so much, no matter what or who she was there . I wish I had her right now to tell her how much she had changed my life and made me felt loved.

I am not sure if you remember me but I happen to be the granddaughter (Eileen)  of Elisa Costa (the Portuguese lady) who would babysit you all.  I am in extreme shock to have found out that your mother Anai Justiniano, who was my grandmother's best friend had passed away.  I just found out as of now!  Some Elizabeth School Teachers have passed away and found their obituaries are online.  When I went to research one of their names, your mother's name popped up and I was in total shock!!!! Your mother Anai, loved my grandmother a lot!!! 

Words can't express the grief and loss of your beloved mother.  She was my hairdresser as well :).  I would like you to know that she is with God at this moment and always with you all!  May her soul rest in peace!  Amen!
