

Antonio was born February 22, 1942. Antonio J Cavacas, age 79, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. Antonio is survived by his wife Maria, his daughter Christine Mooney and her husband Paul and his daughter Anabela Carter and her husband Bryan.
He is the cherished brother to Jose Augusto Cavacas da Cunha, Avelino Cunha , Armando Cavacas da Cunha, Jorge Cavacas da Cunha, Maria Odete Cantarinha, Leontina Maria Cavacas da Cunha. He is the loving grandfather to Alexis and Evalyse Carter and Alyssa and Gina Mooney. He is also the cherished uncle to many nieces an nephews, he will be missed by all that knew him.
He is predeceased by his sister Aurora Sena.
He will be remembered for his ability to repair anything, his big heart to always help his family and friends, his wisdom especially with anything mathematical, his amazing garden, his carpentry skills, but above all else the unconditional love he had for his entire family. He especially loved watching his granddaughters grow. Antonio was the devoted worker for the New Jersey Transit system with their electrical team.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours, along with the funeral the following day.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. With a prayer service to be said at the funeral home at 5:45PM
A committal service will occur Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
