Dane George Lawrence

Dane Lawrence was born Wednesday April 25th 1990 in Jacksonville Florida. He was the only child to Jacqueline McLeod and Dave Lawrence, who spoiled and adored him . Growing up in Jamaica, Dane was very popular amongst his peers who instantly gravitated to him because of his fun, genuine, mischievous and outgoing personality. Everyone wanted to be like Dane. He was the coolest kid on the block. Through the many challenges Dane faced throughout his life, he always elevated and wanted to be a better version of himself. He always righted his wrongs. He was a very honest man until the end. Dane loved music, money, cars, jewelry and loved to look and smell good and was known for his impeccable fashion. Dane dreamt big and was very creative. Although he had a tough exterior, he was soft on the inside and had a very big heart. Dane was an excellent dad and wonderful cook. He took pleasure in feeding and providing for them. He worked hard and worked overtime to make sure they had the best of everything. He loved all his cousins, loved to tell jokes to make them laugh and showed up to every event, especially Dave and Ameerah’s house. People who knew Dane would tell you his best feature was easily his smile. He had a smile that could light up any room and a personality that was warm and genuine. He made people feel special just like he was. There will never be another person like Dane. He was one of a kind and one in a million. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dane is survived by Devin, his wife and friend to the end, his mother Jackie and father Dave, his beautiful children Apollo, Farrah and Nova. His beloved grandmother Barbara affectionately know as Babz. His 6 brothers Yannic, Jaheim, Jahvion, George, Akeeno, Bryan, his sister Davesha, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved immensely. Honorable mention to his stepfather Fyre whom he loved and will get to join above.

A visitation for Dane will be held privately at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. The family requests that if you're interested in attending, please reach out to them directly for details. A private cremation will follow.
