Elizabeth Jacus

Elizabeth Jacus, beloved mother of 5, grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 3 , passed away on June 5, 2024 with family by her side. She was a cherishing wife to her late husband, provided unconditional love to her children, and took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

She was a parishioner at St. Vladimir's in Elizabeth and spent many years actively involved in various organizations. Her creativity and talents were reflected in her beautiful hand-painted ceramics and in the Ukrainian pysanky Easter eggs which she made. She loved cooking and sharing her delicious meals, traveling to Aruba, and decorating her stunning Christmas tree.

Even though she will be greatly missed, we hope that her loved ones find comfort in their memories of her profound generosity, smiles, compassion, and creativity. We will be reminded of her as we see flowers blooming, stunning sunsets, hovering butterflies, and many other things which brought her happiness.

May she rest in peace and find comfort and happiness with her loved ones in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Hope for Ukraine, American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, 309 Grier Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07202. A funeral will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, 280 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.
