

Jimmy worked for Weinberg Electric for 40 plus years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication. Outside of work, he embraced life through the activities he loved most.
He was an avid sports fan who proudly cheered on his favorite teams, the Mets and the Jets. One of his favorite outdoor pastimes was crabbing, which he found both peaceful and fun. Jimmy also spent many years bowling, whether enjoying friendly competition or simply sharing a good time with others. He especially enjoyed playing pinochle, a game that brought him joy, laughter, and time spent with family and friends. In addition, he loved visiting Atlantic City and South Carolina, where he could relax and enjoy a change of scenery.
Jimmy was predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie (Mobile) and his parents, Laura (DePauli) and Paul. He is survived by his children, Kim Sheedy (Ron), Joseph (Jennifer), and Jill Cooper (Justin). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan, Jenna, Sebastian, Cortney, Allison, Ashlyn, and Alex.
He is also predeceased by his longtime partner, Catherine Macfarlane and her son Jason. He is survived by her son, Joseph MacHuynh (Bernadette).
Jimmy is also survived by his brothers Paul (Barbara), Robert (Jeanne), and John (Drew) as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Friday, January 9, 2026, 9:00 am from the funeral home. Funeral Mass
St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Linden, at 10:00 am.
Interment Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
