Jose is survived by his parents, Jose Reta Sr. and Lelani. He is the father of his son, Joshua Reta.
He had a deep passion for soccer, the Miami Dolphins, and the Jersey Devils. He cherished spending time with family and friends and had a profound love for food.
A visitation for Jose will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, located at 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Following the visitation, a committal service will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum, situated at 53 Inman Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07067.
