Maria Emilia Perez, 84, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Maria was born on October 25, 1935, in Guatanamo, Cuba to the late Jose Raurell and Emilia (Salgado) Raurell.
Maria worked as an accountant for Wakefern Food Corporation in New Jersey for 35 years. She was preceded in death by a son; Antonio Fernandes, and a brother; Isidro Raurell. Maria is survived by daughter; Ana Andreini, and husband Michael, a son; Santiago Fernandes, a sister; Margarita Garcia, a brother; Jose Raurell, 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Avenue Linden, New Jersey 07036.
