Martina Hahn

Born on June 17, 1932, to the late Fredrick and Sarah Hahn in Elizabeth New Jersey. Martina was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School and would go on to be an Executive Secretary for Thomas & Betts for more than 30 years.

Martina had a large extended family who all loved to gather every weekend and sometimes during the week, at her home on Olive Street where there was always a party and plenty of food and laughter. Martina was an avid photographer who took plenty of pictures chronicling the family parties and major life events. All of us kids would love to chase around the afterimage of the flash bulb almost as much as having parties to watch the picture slides, yes pre-internet.

Martina was also a fantastic baker and was most famous for her brownies made from scratch with loving care. She would make them with or without nuts, they had homemade chocolate icing, and she always made multiple batches for family and colleagues. She was known to intercompany a batch or two to coworkers in other departments.

Martina is survived by her brother Fred and many cousin

Visitation will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036 on March 25, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St Genevieve's Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208 on March 25, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark, NJ
