Born in Pila Laguna, Philippines, Obdulia made a new home in Elizabeth, New Jersey in the 1970s.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she was known for her warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit.
Obdulia was a dedicated labor and delivery nurse at Elizabeth General Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her care and compassion. In her younger years, she loved to travel and explore the world. More recently, she was a regular at bingo nights, where her quick wit and playful spirit shined just as much as her competitive streak.
She had a wonderful sense of humor that could light up a room and bring a smile to anyone’s face—one of the many qualities her family and friends cherished most.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ernesto Dizon, and is survived by her sons Ernesto Dizon II and Ernesto Dizon III, as well as her cherished grandchildren Erick, Katelyn, Melissa, and Lianna. Her love and legacy live on in each of them.
Obdulia will be remembered for her compassion, her laughter, and the joy she brought into the lives of those lucky enough to know her.
Visitation for Obdulia will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden.
A prayer service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
