Stanislaw “Stanley” Szydlowski, born October 31, 1951, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Stanley will be greatly missed by all who knew him, remembered for his generous heart, steady kindness, and the joy he found in life’s simplest moments.
Born in Poland, Stanley came to the United States at 18 years old and was an auto worker at General Motors for 35 years.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Josephine of over 40 years, whom he met while working together at General Motors; his son Alexander and wife Nicole; his daughter Monica; and his cherished grandchildren Olivia, Ethan, and Arthur, whose smiles were his greatest happiness.
Stanley was a man who found peace in nature. He loved fishing and treasured every moment spent at his happy place, Lake Hopatcong. Whether casting a fishing line at sunrise or creating memories by the water, he embraced the beauty of the lake.
Stanley’s legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the kindness he showed, and the deep love he shared. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will remain forever for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
