

Williane Cyrius MENE, age 35, was born on March 29, 1990, in VERRETTES, a town in Haiti. She was the first born of William CYRIUS and Lucienne Lessage CYRIUS. She attended elementary school at Ecole St Michel of VERRETTES, middle school, and high school at Institution Mixte Joseph Claude Bernard of VERRETTES. On September 2010, she left her town, moved to Port-au-Prince to attend medical school at ULUM (Université LUMIERE) and seven years later, she became a Doctor.
Since 2015, she often traveled to USA as a visitor, after meeting her husband, she made the decision to settle permanently in the UNITED STATES with her daughter. She went back to school and became a Registered Nurse
Affectionately known as “Yayou or Yane” by her family and closest friends. She was very generous, understanding, respectful, friendly, caring, and helpful. She was the leader of the family. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She loved her family more than anything.
After 4 years of battling breast cancer, she finally passed away on January 12, 2026, surrounded by her family at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center at NEW YORK. She left behind many people who brought her great joy : her husband Bernace MENE, her daughter Wilmarlensa Luce Mitsura Noelcius, her mom Lucienne Cyrius, her dad William Cyrius, her sisters Youseline Marie-Vania Cyrius, Lynn Yanara Cyrius and Annette Massillon, her brothers William Luther Vilaire Cyrius and Gaelo-Stanley Cyrius, her nieces Samentania Augustin and Dun-Arya Luce Cyrius and many friends
Williane will be remembered as a proud mom, a loving sister, a devoted wife, and a woman whose life was defined by hard work, sacrifice, and faith. Above all, she will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the example of kindness she lived each day.
May she rest in God’s eternal peace and may those who loved her find comfort through faith, joy in remembrance of her life, the love she gave so freely and the assurance of God’s promise of eternal life.
Visitation will be held directly at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary and St. Michael's Catholic Church, 52 Smith St, Elizabeth,
on January 24, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral mass.
