
Andrew was born January 19th, 1929 to Anna and Andrew A Karkos, Sr, of Lisbon Falls, ME.
He attended Bridgton Academy, Class of 1951, where he played hockey on the 1951 Championship team.
Andrew proudly served our country during a 22 year military year career, including the Army and United States Air Force. Following military retirement, he then began a 20 year career with the United States Postal Service.
Andrew was an avid golfer and pilot. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie Brown, and his siblings, Marilyn Keamy; Eleanore Berry; Marjorie O’Donnell; and Norman Karkos, along with numerous nieces and nephews from their respective families.
Andrew was predeceased by his parents, his brother Calvin Karkos, and grandson, Timothy Brown.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in his memory on Thursday, January 19th, on what would be his 94th birthday, at 11AM at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls, ME.
