AUBURN: Dennis R. Litalien, 60, of Lisbon Falls passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018 at the Hospice House in Auburn surrounded by his loving family following a courageous and aggressive battle with a Glioblastoma. He was born on October 5, 1957 in Rumford a son of George and Anita (Chaisson) Litalien. He grew up in the Rumford area and attended St. Theresa parochial school and was a graduate of Rumford High School, class of 1975. In 1976 he met the future love of his life, Valerie Lizotte and the two were married on May 27, 1978 at St. Theresa’s Church in Mexico,ME. Shortly after that, they moved to Brunswick where they would start a family and Dennis would begin his career at Bath Iron Works. He went thru the Apprenticeship Program and worked as a department foreman for the electrical shop at Bath Iron Works. Dennis will always be remembered for his love of spending quality time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He would always make up special games to play with them and would never miss any of their extracurricular activities. He loved them all so much. He was also passionate about hunting and fishing along with ice fishing and snowshoeing with Valerie. They both traveled frequently and also traveled with their great friends, Ed and Nancy. Dennis was a faithful Catholic and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls and his love for Jesus never wavered. He will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Litalien of Lisbon Falls, his parents, George and Anita Litalien of Peru, his daughters, Cammy Reny and her husband Christopher of Lisbon and Erica Kelsey and her husband Benjamin of Richmond. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren; Tyler, Arianna, Alexa, Isabella and Christopher as well as his brother Daniel Litalien and his wife Melissa of West Peru and their two children, Vanessa and Brandon and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Diane Litalien, at the age of 17. The family wishes to thank all of their family and friends for their continued support and prayers during this difficult time and for being their light in the darkest hours.

Visiting hours will be held at Crosman on Thursday January 18, 2018 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls on Friday January 19, 2018 at 1pm with a reception to follow in the church hall.
