Jeannette M. Albert

Lewiston - Jeannette M. Albert 84, of Montello Manor 540 College Street, died Thursday at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion where she resided for the past 6 months. Born in Waterville May 23, 1927 a daughter of the late Leonard J. and Odile M. Rossignol Hebert. She graduated from Winslow High School in the Class of 1945. Mrs. Albert was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls and worked at Mammouth Mart and later as an optical office worker. She was married to Lawrence R. Albert who died January 16,1989 and later married Leo Belisle who died in 1998. She volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital and nursing homes. She was a former member of the ladies auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Auburn Council. She enjoyed family and friends and will be remembered for helping others and her famous cookies. She is survived by a daughter Donna M. Albert of Auburn, a son Richard Albert and companion Diane Ianotti of Monmouth, 4 grandchildren, Laura Bilodeau Higgins and husband Brian Higgins, Melissa Bilodeau and husband Dana Staples, Austin Albert and wife Leigh and Ashley Albert, great-grandchildren Maia and Liam Higgins, her step children, Louise Wallingford, Diane Pratt , Dennis Belisle. A gathering will be held at Holy Trinity Church Frost Hill Rd. Lisbon Falls Thursday September 8th from 9:00am followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 Am. Burial to follow at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery One Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
