Joanne M King

1941-2021

Lisbon – Joanne M. King, 80, of Lisbon Maine, passed away at peacefully at her home on December 26, 2021. She was born in Lewiston Maine on October 25, 1941. The daughter of Thomas & Blanche (Berube) Murray. She was a graduate of Lisbon High School and remained a lifelong resident of this community. She worked for many years at Pioneer Plastics and VFW Post 1603 Auburn. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, the American Legion Aux. #158, the VFW Post 1603 and Past Time Club.

She enjoyed socializing with family and friend, traveling with her grandchildren and hosting Holiday Gatherings. She will be dearly missed by the family and friends.

Joanne is survived by her son Timothy Gamache and companion Donna Harris of Monmouth, her daughter, Lisa Gamache Bolen and husband Jim Bolen of Augusta, and her step-son, William “Todd” King of Orlando, and her grandchildren: Jennifer Gamache of Monmouth, Nicki Gamache of Lewiston, Corey Gamache of Old Orchard Beach, Michelle Gamache Wing or Monmouth and Nate Gamache of Lewiston, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by loving husband William King, her parents, her brothers Tom and Jim Murray, and her sister Irene Murray Ledoux.

A memorial and graveside service for William and Joanne will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery at a later date.
