LISBON-- Ronald W. Burnette, Sr., 74, of 34 Upland Road, died Sunday, Aug. 5. He was born in Roanoke, VA., on July 5, 1938. He was a veteran of the Navy for 11 years and he worked as a boiler technician at Bowdoin College for 15-plus years. He is survived by his former wife, Sylvia Burnette; three children; several stepchildren; numerous grandchildren; and a few great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am on Friday, Aug. 10, at Lisbon Free Baptist Church.
