Ann Elizabeth Brennan

Ann Elizabeth Brennan, age 90, raised in Rogers Park with her siblings: 2 brothers and 1 sister who have preceded her in death. Her mother died when Ann was 5 years old. A graduate of St. Scholastica High School and Mt. St. Scholastica College, receiving a B.A. in English, with a minor in Drama. Ann married Jerome Brennan in 1943 and they settled in Oak Park, where they raised their three children. Ann was a volunteer for many years at St. Anne’s Hospital, Girl Scouts, including President of Lone Tree Council, and she was the 1st. woman elected to the board of Triton College. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Jerome (1999), she leaves to cherish her memories; children: Ann Maureen, Michael (Kathy) Brennan and Gael (Roy) Hanauer; grandchildren : Joe (Richelle), Jennifer (Dan), Vince and Melissa; great grandchildren Allyson, Vince, Devin, Alex, Sam & Andy; other adored family members and a myriad of dear & loving friends, especially her caregiver Evelyn. Visitation Thursday 9:00 am. until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am. at Villa St. Benedict, 1920 Maple Ave, Lisle. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
