Dennis Anthony Galvin

Dennis “Dino” Galvin, age 72, passed away on December 30, 2015. Loving husband and together with Andrea D. Galvin for 30 years; Wonderful dad and friend of William Dumong, Anna Marie Dumong-Early, David (Holly) Barnhart, and Kelly (William) Houghton; Cherished Poppy of Michael, Danny, Billy IV, Amber, Olivia, and Elina; Brother of Gerald Galvin; Brother-in-law of Gerard Dufault and Noel (Howard) Nance; Dear friend, uncle, and cousin, many from North Dakota and Connecticut. Dennis was a proud retired Chicago Police Officer, and in his younger days, was stationed in Okinawa with the 173rd Airborne of the United States Army, as a paratrooper. Memorial Service will be at 3 PM on January 23 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln, Lisle, IL 60532 where a Memorial Visitation will take prior to the service from 1-3 PM. The Galvin Family would like to thank the “SVTU” department at Christ Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois for all of their wonderful care throughout Dennis’ illness.
