Donna J. Fetke, age 81, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Palatine, passed away on January 7, 2011. She was born on June 28, 1929 in Chicago, IL. Donna was the loving wife of Donald for 63 years; cherished mom of Joanne (William) Schaper, James (Shirley), Jack (Kathleen) and Jerry (Veronica); devoted grandma of eleven and great-grandma of 12; dear sister of the late Norma (Norbert) Schmaus. Donna was a member of Sweet Adelines Barber Shop Group for 35 years and also loved to sing in her church choir in Surprise, AZ. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 3-7 pm with a prayer service at 4:30 pm at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road (between Army Trail Rd. and North Ave.) Glendale Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society or CNS Hospice would be appreciated.
