Davis, Lorraine B. “Rae”
Lorraine B. Davis, nee Forsgren, age 92 of Glen Ellyn, passed Monday March 4th, 2013.  
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Davis.
Rae, known to all her friends, is survived by her two sons Robert B. (Helen) Davis of West Chicago and Scott ( Jacki) Davis of Glen Ellyn and her four grandchildren Heather Davis (Julie Kruger) of Iowa City, Matt, (Cathy)Davis of Crystal Lake, Chris Davis of Glen Ellyn and Tim Davis of Carpentersville.  
Rae was privileged to also have three cherished great grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon and Eliana
Rae spent her last years at the Meadows of Glen Ellyn and absolutely adored the friends she made which included the wonderful staff that took such good care of her. 
Rae was able to travel throughout the world with her husband Bob and in later years spent her winters in Sun City volunteering for over 20 years at Boswell Hospital in their cancer ward. Each summer Rae would make her pilgrimage to the family's cabin deep in the north woods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She truly lived for spring so she could get back to the woods with her friends, the several deer, hummingbirds and chipmunks that would visit her each day and the occasional black bear that would rob all her feeders. 
Rae was the “Danica Patrick” of the north woods when driving her jeep through the woods to reach the mailbox out to the highway!  Her sons are more than certain, there's a universal sigh of relief from all in the woods, including man and beast… But, they all will miss her and the exercise she provided in getting out of her way.
Old Frank Sinatra would be proud of Rae, without a doubt, she always did it her way. 
We will miss you and never forget the joy you brought to all of our lives.
