Lynda Lee McMahon

Lynda Lee McMahon, age 71, passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2024. Loving wife of 41 years to Brian McMahon; Beloved mother to Blake McMahon and Neal (Suzanne) McMahon; Cherished sister to Larry (Cindy) Allen; Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darwin and Dorothy Allen.

Lynda received two educational accolades in her lifetime, obtaining Bachelor’s Degrees in Education first at Murray State in Murray, KY, followed by a Nursing degree at Northwestern in Chicago, IL. This led to a career as a registered nurse, spending her working years helping others in their time of need at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. When her oldest, Blake, was born, she decided to take on the role of homemaker for her growing family.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Lynda that will be held from 9 AM – 12:30 PM on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532, where a funeral service will follow at 12:30 PM. Interment will be private for the family at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport, IL.
