Thomas Roy Merkel, age 67, US Army Vietnam Veteran, formerly of Bloomingdale for 40 years, passed away suddenly August 8, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Natalie; dear father of Suzanne (Greg) Merkel-Baugher and the late Scott; loving grandpa of Kaitlyn and Anya Baugher; and dear brother of the late Judy Butera.
