Alta Jean Goodson Stigall

Alta enjoyed many things in life like, quilting, singing, gardening and sewing. She also enjoyed cooking for holidays, sight-seeing, playing dominos, swinging on her front porch in the spring or fall, and spending time with family. Alta will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands John Henry Goodson, Sr. and Royce Stigall, as well as one son, Donald Ray Goodson.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Goodson (Mikki), Maumelle, AR and Roy Goodson (Penny), Ferndale, AR; four daughters, Debbie Goodson, Maumelle, AR, Pam Goodson, Maumelle, AR, Monica Steed (Jim), Maumelle, AR, Barbra Goodson, Ferndale, AR; 15 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great-great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Alta will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12Th St, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 5800 W 12Th St, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. A burial will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Spring Valley Cemetery, Little Rock, AR.
