Humphrey Golman Brown Jr., of Woodson, Arkansas passed away in his home July 31, 2025. He was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on October 19, 1933 to Humphrey Golman Brown Sr. and Eunice Fern Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ladayne Wilson.
He gave his life to the Lord in 1963 and served as a member and teacher at Woodson Baptist Church for the remainder of his life.
He worked hard to support his family at AMF Bicycle Plant for 23 years and GE Electric Cooperation for another 15 years before retiring.
When not working, his hobbies included collecting Indian artifacts, Hot Wheel cars, and was also known as the greatest Razorback Fan of all time.
He was a devoted husband to wife Bertha Jane (Bobbie) Brown for 64 years and a loving father and father-in-law to daughter Monique Jones and her husband Kenneth Jones. Other survivors include grandson, Dylan Peery and wife Linda; and great-grandsons Colter and Stetson; step-grandson Justin Jones and wife Ashtyn; step-granddaughter, Rachel Sample and her husband Briar; and step-great-grandchildren Jensen, Coraline, Kyzer, Raelynn, Rowan, and Elzie.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at Woodson Cemetery.
