

Jacquelyn Fleming Berry, 88, of North Little Rock passed away July 28, 2025 after a long battle of Alzheimer’s. She was born August 30, 1936 in Fordyce to the late Jack and Elizabeth (Upton) Russell. In addition to her parents, Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Fleming; second husband, Kenneth Earl Berry; and step-daughter, Jeanne Parks. Jackie graduated from Fordyce High School and attended the University of Arkansas, majoring in music and was an accomplished pianist. She left the University and went to work at AP&L (now Entergy) for over 30 years. She had a love for animals and she and her husband, Sam raised champion Irish Setters. In her retirement, Jackie took up ceramics as a hobby and created many beautiful art pieces. Those left to cherish the memories of Jacquelyn include her sister, Sandra Russell Lyons and her husband, Dr. Virgle Lyons; niece, Dr. Holly Beth Lyons Willis and her husband, Dr. Nick Willis; nephew, Virgle E. Lyons, III; cousins, Deena (David) Duncan Culberson, Dianne Duncan Rail, Pat Woodson, Buddy Jordan, John (Nancy) Jordan, Jack (Becky) Jordan, Kathy Jordan DeWoody, Bill Jordan, David (Cheryl) Jordan, and Carolyn Ray; as well as extended family and many church and ceramic friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2025 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank staff at Robinson Nursing and Rehab and the nurses from Gentiva Hospice for their care.
