Our son, brother, uncle and friend, James Kenneth Cardenas, died March 12, 2019, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born February 19, 1959, in San Antonio. He spent four years of his life in Spain and then moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated from John Jay High School. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
His passions included his family, his frineds, the Buffalo National River, kayaking, canoeing, and camping. Preceding him in death were his beloved gradmother Christine Rose and his mother, Christine Cardenas. Survivors include his father Jimmy Cardenas (Dahlia); one brother, Keith Cardenas; two sisters, Karen and Kelly Cardenas; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends including Wally, Kim, and Gabe.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800
