John Michael Steuart, 76, of Little Rock, passed away on March 17, 2025. He was born on August 12, 1948, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to the late J.T. and Beryl Steuart. In addition to his parents, John was welcomed into Heaven by his favorite dog, Bode.
Before retirement, John had a successful career with the Corps of Engineers, Farmers Home Administration, and the Soil Conservation Department, later working as an independent real estate agent and appraiser. Always willing to speak his mind, John was friendly with everyone—until he decided if he liked you or not.
In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, tackling home improvement projects, listening to classic rock, taking Bode for walks in the park, spending time with his daughter and granddaughters, and taking Linda out to eat.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Steuart of Little Rock; his daughter, Angel Lynch of Cabot; granddaughters, Colby (Lawson) Ford of Rector and Carly White of Cabot; great-grandchildren, Hank and Campbell Ford; his sister, Janice Elkins of Little Rock; his beloved cat, Maggie Rose; and extended family who will miss him dearly.
A private memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.
