There was a celebration in heaven on Sunday November 24th. Mary Marvell Caldwell, 97, of Little Rock had come home. She was born on August 30, 1922. Her parents were the late Thomas and Lealer Caid Henderson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Caldwell and her five brothers.
Mary was affectionately know as "Mama Caldwell" by all of her immediate family. She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Lee and Vickie Choate (Bill), three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four nieces and many extended family members and friends.
Mary lived in Little Rock most of her life. She was a homemaker while her daughters were growing up, then she went to work at Timex for sixteen years until she retired. After
retirement, she moved to Conway and worked at Kidco for the next thirteen years. In 2011, when her health began to decline, she moved back to Little Rock to live with her daughter Vickie. While in Little Rock, she was a faithful member of Rosedale Baptist church then moved her membership to Brumley Baptist church in Conway. The family would like to express their appreciation to all of the loving. caregivers who graciously took care of Mary for the last
eight years. A special thanks to Arkansas Hospice for their love and support through the most difficult days of the past two years.
Funeral for Mrs. Caldwell will be 1:00pm, Friday, November 29, 2019, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, with Pastor Travis Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time.
