Ruby Lee Howard

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Ruby Lee Howard, age 98, of Little Rock, AR, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2019. She was born on December 30, 1920, in Sweet Home, AR to Cora Collier and Ben Johnson. She was of strong Christian faith and a beautiful mother of 17 children. She was a smart, and creative woman that loved sharing life stories with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Howard, sons; Will Johnson Jr., Arthur Howard Jr. and Billy Ray Howard. Daughters; Rose Johnson, Tarlese Parker, Alice Johnson, and Sara Howard.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Roger Howard (Linda), Curtis Howard; daughters: Dianne Hooks (Tyrone), Linda Tucker, Ruby Smith, Carolyn McKindra, Barbara Woodard (Gene), Donna McCain (Eddie) and granddaughter: Rona Moody (Kareem) and more than a hundred more grandchildren & great grand children.

Family hour (non-viewing) will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Rd., LR, AR. Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 am, also at Greater Second Baptist Church. (Viewing hour at 10:00 am). Burial will follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery, 10200 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
