Ruth graduated from Little Rock (Central) High School in 1935. She was employed by Travelers Insurance Company for 43 years. Her retirement was spent visiting and doing errands for disabled friends and playing her violin with a group and making regular visits to nursing homes. She was an active resident at Andover Place, continuing to play her violin regularly.
She was a member of Little Rock First Nazarene Church. In her later years, Ruth was encouraged by Pulaski Heights Methodist Church and enjoyed their services on television
Visitation will be at 10 A.M. on Monday, December 18, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, on 12th. Street in Little Rock. Funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Rock First Nazarene Church or North Little Rock Friendly Chapel.
