Vixien Phonvilai

Vixien Phonvilai, age 83, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born on December 12, 1940 in Khammoune, Laos to the late May Donpath and Chiang Singkhek. In addition to his parents, Vixien is preceded in death by his brother, Bounlien Phonevilay.

Those left to cherish Vixien’s memory include his brothers, Khamkhien (Choumsy) Phonvilai of Mabelvale, AR., and Khamvien Phonvilai of London, AR.; 8 nieces and nephews, Noupien (Vang) Khamsisavang of Mabelvale, AR., Faye (Keo) Ratthasombath of Mabelvale, AR., Sakhone (Kristen) Phonvilai of Little Rock, AR., Mary Jean (Jum) Souvanna of Mabelvale, AR., Joshua (Kwin) Phonvilai of Navarre, FL., Savanna (Anthony) Reynolds of Catoosa, OK., Issac (Lilly) of Russellville, AR., and Vanny Phonevilay of Bourges, France; 15 great nieces and nephews, Catelyn and Zachary Khamsisavang of Mabelvale, AR., Madison and Kennedy Ratthasombath of Mabelvale, AR., Kaeden, Kallen and Kaia Phonvilai of Mabelvale, AR., Mya and Lakynn Souvanna of Mabelvale, AR., Reina Phonvilai of Navarre, FL, Maizy, Emmi Lynn, and Lylah River Reynolds of Catoosa, OK., and Rayane and Maysan Phonevilay of Bourges, France; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

Funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 1321 S Jackson Street in Little Rock. Visitation will be the evening prior, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th Street in Little Rock.
