I know that you do not know me, but I worked with Adam for many years at CPM. We were a team that went out teaching and troubleshooting problems for customers around the globe. It's been several years since I worked with Adam but certainly remember and respect him for his knowledge of Extrusion.  He was a friend as well and will be greatly missed. I wish you and your family the very best during this difficult time. So sorry and sad.

That's with a deep sadness that I present you my condolences for Adam.  I did not have the chance to work a lot with him, but it was obviously a great experience., both professional and human.

Adam was one of the very few people in the world that can take their passion and technical prowess then communicate, educate, and cultivate relevant conversations on a complex application like extrusion. His enthusiasm in this area was infectious and he would lead by example.

We will miss Adam immensely, as his impact in the extrusion applications and the continuous processing industry was enormous.


Adam will be deeply missed in the plastics community.  Having worked with him and more so learned from him for over 20 years, I can't express the gratitude that I have for his contributions to my career.  He was always willing to share his knowledge freely as well as admit when he wasn't an expert at something - just one of the many things I admired about him.

My deepest condolences to the family.  I knew Adam from a professional standpoint.  he was always willing to help with processing issues and by far was an expert in his field.  He will be deeply missed by the West Michigan Compounding family.


I was shocked to hear the news about Adam.   In December 2022, he presented some extrusion-related training for our R&D people.  It has just been over two months since then.    This will be a significant loss for the industry.

Adam is willing to share his knowledge and wisdom on extrusion technology.  His impact ranges from food processing, plastic compounding, bio-based materials, and circular economy with recycled materials.   He will be remembered as giving his all in helping many engineers and he will be greatly missed by many of us.

We are all happier and better  people for having the good fortune to have known Adam  and that is why this is so devastating.  I was so lucky to have known Adam at both Maritime and NYU. We even worked together for a while at WP.  We had so much fun working together at the NYU lab in Westbury.  Every day  was a hoot.  Adam got up every morning with the intention of putting a smile on everyone he came in contact with. I have missed that over the years and figured we would get back to it one of these days.  This is a hard lesson learned and I  hope we meet again in extruder heaven.

I received this certificate from Adam just this past October. It was sad to hear about his passing. He always went out of his way to help with trainings and processing issues with Extrusion technology. My condolences for his family. He will be remembered by the  WMC family.

I’m very sorry to learn about Adam’s passing. I knew him as the  industry expert and consultant on twin screw extrusion and compounding when I was with Union Carbide. He was at the top of his profession. He had  extensive knowledge and  very practical mastery of the field.  He communicated that with great skill, confidence and passion that commanded a great respect for him.  His premature death is a reminder that the life is short. May his memory live forever. Adam was a huge influence in my career in a very positive way, and he taught me a heck of a lot.  So, thank you Adam.  I still have our webinars that we produced while at Century and I still listen to them,  often, and I am still learning from them.

I met Adam in 1981 and was fortunate enough to share an office with him for almost 4 years.  We often shared a pilot plant/lab also during those times as we ran trials alongside each other and bounced ideas (and funny stories of colorful technicians and customers).  I have a lot of respect for the career he built and always found him positive, energetic and always ready for a laugh.  A good man lost too soon….RIP

Our families grew up going to Vermont every year to ski. One year adam tried to snowboard, and i was also new so we stuck together one run. I fell and hit my head hard so he suggested I awlk the rest of the way down to be safe, but i was scared to walk down, A. alone, and B. down this steep mountain. Before i could even share that with him, he unclipped his board, picked mine up, and said lets go we are walking together. I never shared what that meant to me at the time, but he was always there to make me laugh and I appreciated him so much.

Adam was a great man and someone I have shared many memories growing up with. He will be missed

Adam will be with me every sunrise.  He would want us to make our days better than the days before, and we will.  We were fortunate to have him share in our lives. A very, very good man gone too soon.  We loved him when he was here and that won’t stop. 

Will miss you, my friend.  The understanding, the laughs, the memories. 

My deepest condolences to Adam’s family. I first met Adam when he was a student at NYU in the late 70’s. He was member of the team under Prof. Barry Rugg working on acidic hydrolysis of cellulose to glucose, very hot topic at the time. Since then, we interacted on many occasions involving novel applications of extrusion technology. Over the years, his lectures to the new generation of professionals were well received and put in practical use. 
His premature dead is a great loss to the industry. He will be missed by many.

Dear Michele and family,

I'm very sorry to learn of Adam's passing and have some memories to share.

I'll always remember when Adam came into the Century Extrusion booth at NPE 2007 and asked me if I knew how to grow our company bigger, better, and faster?  I said "tell me" and he said "hire me!'  He was right!

Also remembering the special time the three of us had in Traverse City attending the wine tasting seminar together.   Friends and wine are made for each other!

I had lots of fun working with Adam through the years.  He was a real  difference maker and a wonderful friend to work and travel with.


I'm so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Adam well, but I heard him speak many times at plastics industry conferences. He was so knowledgeable and generous with sharing his knowledge to help others. He left a positive mark on the industry and will be missed there. I'm praying for you and your family.

I have known Adam for four years while working at Daramic (Asahi Kasei) and CCC plastics. He was a great inspiration not only from academic standpoint but from the process engineering standpoint as well. He provided support to all our engineering and troubleshooting efforts and was always there when needed just a phone call away. He was very busy with all world extrusion projects but would always pick up every phone call even it was not urgent. He will always be missed. May God bless you will all hearts. Inshallah.

I felt so much joy whenever I knew 
cousin Adam was coming to Chicago and I would get to see him . He was always so happy . He loved talking about his family and what was new.. I will miss Adam so much.  The world has lost one of the best.
