Anne Tutalo Dezenzo of East Hanover
New Jersey, passed away peacefully
at home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
Born in Orange, New Jersey, she lived
in West Orange for many years before
moving to East Hanover in 2002.
Anne had a special love for
children. She helped raise her niece,
three nephews, and her granddaughter,
Melissa. While caring for her grand-
daughter, Anne became known as
neighborhood’s grandma. She was often
seen driving the children to various
events. When they needed a ride for
music practice, they piled into her car
with all sorts of musical instruments,
and she became the children’s private
taxi cab. Anne loved being the
neighborhood’s grandma.
Anne was a devoted mother, and her greatest joy was
spending time with family and friends. Nanda Monteiro
became part of her family and a cherished friend.
Anne’s other interests were reading and traveling all
over the world.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Dezenzo,
her granddaughter, Melissa Williams, her son-in-law, C. Frank
Williams, her sisters, Margaret Sautto and Mary (Roxie) Pizzi,
her brothers, Daniel, James, Leonard, and Frank Tutalo.
She is survived by her daughter,Joanne Dezenzo Williams,
and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make
a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
