Barbara “Bobbie” Hyde, 92, of Livingston, NJ, passed away on September 18, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born in Newark, Bobbie was the daughter of Max and Rose Belfer. She attended Weequahic High School and worked in the medical field for her entire career. She was married to Gordon Hyde for 49 ¾ years. She lived for many years in Irvington and Livingston, NJ before moving to Boynton Beach, Florida. Bobbie was devoted to her family and friends, of which there were many.
Bobbie is survived by her son, Howard of New York and Tinton Falls, NJ; and her brother Louis Belfer (Elaine) of The Villages, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Sandra Tobias. Donations in Barbara Hyde’s name can be made to Hadassah or the charity of your choice.
