Born in Newark, NJ, David lived in Maplewood an South Orange, NJ, before moving to New Vernon 25 years ago. He graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood NJ 1956 and the University of Vermont in 1960. He was a vice president in his family business, H. Schultz & Sons for 60 years until his death. He was a past board member of the Jewish Y Camps, of New Jersey, on the board of The Center for Music Excellency (CME) and Friends of Harding Township Library, and was a past president of H..A.D.I, an Houseware industry association. Although he was born and raised in New Jersey he as a huge Boston Red Sox's fan for his whole life. David and his beloved wife, Deborah traveled the world during their 58 year marriage.
David was a long time member of Oheb Shalom Congregation , South Orange, NJ. and Green Brook Country Club, North Caldwell, NJ.
In addition to his wife ,David is survived by his daughter, Dale Lazarovitch ( Ran) and son Steven Schultz, His brother Robert Schultz, and his five loving grandchildren: Ethan, Rachel & Noah Lazarovitch. Claire & Charlotte Schultz.
