Edith Seidenberg, 93, of Pembroke Pines, FL, formerly of Rockaway, New Jersey, passed away on Fri. April 19, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville, NJ. She was born in the Bronx, NY and attended George Washington High School. Fellow graduates of the same school in that pre and post war era were Henry Kissinger, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, singer Harry Belafonte and Murray Jarvik.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a lifelong interest in needlepoint, crocheting and mahjong and was active in leadership positions in regional national Jewish women's organizations such as Hadassah as well as local synagogue women's clubs. She was a beloved homemaker and loved by so many for her kindness as well as her ability to maintain family traditions of large Passover seders and Thanksgiving Dinners year in and year out for 50 plus years.
She will be sorely missed. May we all be given her full life of love, opportunity and keep strong the generational legacies.
