Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael’s Church in Livingston at 10 am. The Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-4 pm.
A WWII Navy Veteran, Edward was a self-employed food entrepreneur in Livingston where he owned both the Livingston Italian Deli and Bread’s Plus for many years.
He was the beloved husband of Delores (nee Schiafo), loving father of Barbara Capone, Doreen Messina, and Marianne Messina, DC, and cherished grandfather of Danielle, Lauren, Jesse, Christina, and Victoria. He was also survived by his nephew Dennis Messina, DC and 5 great grandsons.
In lieu of flowers contributions will be accepted to the Disabled American Veterans.
