Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell at 10 am. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 pm.
Born in Newark, Vera lived in Bloomfield for 62 years before moving to Verona in 2006. She was employed by Schering Plough in Kenilworth for 25 years retiring in 1990.
She was the loving sister of Lawrence Tobia, Patrick Tobia, Angela Cates, and the late Anna DelRusso, Margaret DeMarco, Geraldine Marino, Carmella Tobia, Genevieve Soprano, and Pam Risimini. She was also the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
