Dear Debbie,
I so remember first meeting Eric in 1976 when we were both starting our MBAs at Cornell. He was such a warm, kind and smart person.  It was great that through the years we were able to reconnect at the Sternbergs various events. It was a wonderful tie to the Cornell days. I will miss him!

My husband, Alan Gordon, and I send our deepest condolences to the entire Rosenson family, extended family, and their friends. We remember Eric from parties and dinners at Valerie and Russell's home. He was witty and caring, told wonderful stories, and lit up a room. May Eric's memory always be a blessing.

You were among the very first in our class to marry and start a family, and you were together happily for so long. I wish I had not missed the livestream-I didn't check my messages soon enough.

Debbie and Family, that was such a beautiful tribute to your father, brother, and husband.  Eric was so kind.  I first met him at his parent’s house in Great Neck with Debbie before they were married.  He introduced me to Haagen Daz ice cream!  He was always welcoming to us, Debbie’s girl friends from Plainview.  I offer you my condolences and wishes for comfort. What a moving ceremony. Thank you to Eric’s sisters and all three children for sharing your beautiful memories and love for your dad /brother/grandpa. Thank you to the cantor for singing so emotionally.  This is happening way too soon and I wish you all continued strength in your love for each other and in the sweetness of the voices of the third generation. Debs, what a sad day. And how beautiful to hear again how you met and how your families rejoiced as you decided to spend the rest of your lives together. It was a match made in Heaven. Memories come flooding back. May this Shiva period help give you strength.

Listening to the service, and hearing Jenn's memory, I can hear Eric speaking to Samantha and Payten while driving them after school.  I know how much he loved them and they will miss him.

I’ll always remember Eric’s generosity and patience driving  us  around NYC and Long Island during our JFK HS reunions! He never complained! Plus he was just plain fun to talk to! But most importantly, Eric was truly devoted to you, to family, to friends (and to Lacrosse!) He will be missed. He was a real treasure.  Our love and prayers are with you Debbie and your family. My heart goes out to Debbie and the whole family. Eric was a wonderful person. I’m so grateful that he and Debbie had so much nachas from their children and grandchildren.  I feel fortunate to have shared some very joyful occasions with them and our mutual friends, starting with their wedding. Eric’s memory will surely be a blessing to all who knew him. 

I first came to know Eric as a neighbor across the street. I was new to the community and after a bad snow storm, I was attempting to cut a few loose branches and he so kindly came over to help with his equipment.

A few years later, he ended up being the coach for my son, Miles. He was always positive and never missed a practice or a game. From there I joined the Livingston Lacrosse Board, and I ended up coaching the 3rd grade team. 

I always looked forward to seeing Eric on the field or in a board meeting, whether virtually or in person. He was one of the kindest giving people that I have come across and I will certainly miss our conversations. He always would talk about his big family and it was clear how much they all meant to him.

My condolences to Debbie and his entire family for their loss. May he be remembered in the best of light and his name carried with pride.
