Florence Ann Buren

September 16, 1931 - January 28, 2022

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Florence Ann Buren. Affectionately known as Flossy , she passed away at her home with her children by her side.

Flossy was the devoted wife of Paul Buren, beloved mother of Mindy, Jodi & Benjamin and loving grandmother of Joshua, Danielle, David & Rachel Stouck, Barry, Jamie & Jordan Buren and Shawn & Cary Krongard. Born and raised in Newark, Flossy attended Weequahic High School where she was a majorette. She lived a full life surrounded by family and friends and was known for her sparkling personality & sense of humor. She was always quick to smile, freely chatted with strangers and knew how to just enjoy each moment with kindness & laughter. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside. Flossy was devoted to her children and grandchildren, but her greatest love of all was her husband Paul.

She will be dearly missed.
