Born and raised in Jersey City to Mary and Pasquale Bozza, Grace moved to Livingston in 1963.
Over the past 20 years, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Township of Livingston Clerk’s Office. Formerly she worked as a paralegal for Foster-Wheeler in Livingston for 25 years and served as an officer of the Peachtree Credit Union.
Grace had an unwavering dedication to community service in Livingston, earning her numerous awards and recognitions. Her most recent and notable was the President’s Volunteer Award. She was an active member of the Livingston League of Women Voters, and served as its vice president up until her death.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred M. Russo, devoted mother of Patricia Russo and her husband John Karr, Alan Russo, Jennifer Russo and her husband Domenico Spagnolo, and Robyn Russo-Cuppari and her husband Jerry Cuppari, cherished grandmother of Michael and his wife Anakaren, Katy and her husband Vincent, Robert, Christina, Julia, Vanessa, and Julian, loving great grandmother of Noah, Lucas, and Aria, dear sister of the late Michael Bozza and his wife Monica, and Peter Bozza and his wife Grace, and loving aunt of Donna, Susan, and Joann.
Visitation is being held at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2-7 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10 am in St. Philomena’s Church in Livingston followed by the Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
