Not a day goes by without a bolt of remembrance of the sadness and smiles wrapped up inextricably in the spirit and soul of my dear friend, Harvey Braun. I was saddened to hear of Harvey's passing. We were classmates at DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx. Although we weren't close friends, we had several classes together and were friendly competitors for math honors. We both went to engineering school, though I see he changed directions, and had a very successful career.

I remember Harvey as a warm friendly guy who was destined to become a leader. After high school, we didn't meet again until we hooked up at the annual DWC alumni dinner, to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of our graduating class.

I see from Harvey's date of birth that he arrived 3 days before me. So I guess I can call him my "older" brother.

I am heartbroken....I just heard a few minutes ago about my dear friend Harvey....Harvey was my boss for 10 years at Deloitte, and he made me laugh every day.  He had one of the best smiles of anyone I ever knew.  He was a truly wonderful man.  Sue, I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope you can solace in the fact that Harvey adored his family and everyone loved him.  Debbie and Rachel, your dad was a great man.  You were so lucky to call him Dad.

Harvey was a great friend and a wonderful human being. As a fraternity brother at RPI he was always up for fun. As a mature man, he was very warm; always having stories to tell about his family and asking about how our granddaughter was doing. We will miss him very much, especially when going to the ballets he enjoyed so much.

I didn't know Harvey but I am the daughter in law of one of his dearest friends, Tom Baruch.  Tom has spoken so highly of Harvey and is so devastated by his passing, I know Harvey must've been someone really special. May you all be given peace during this difficult time.

My day`s at Touche Ross were always more pleasant when I was meeting with or working with Harvey. He was bright, fun, respectful and one of the really "great" guys. My condolences to Sue and the rest of his family.

I was shocked and saddened to learn this morning of Harvey's passing.  My deepest condolences to Sue -- whom I think I knew (from those great summers at Camp Taconic) even longer than they knew each other -- and all who mourn him.  

The world is a sadder place without Harvey brightening it.

So very sad to hear about Harvey.  I cherish my memories of Harvey Braun and Jerry Rosen, their antics and stories at 48 South Lake Ave.  Most definitely two  of the neatest guys I've ever had the good fortune to know.

I remember playing on the house football team, lining up next to him in the backfield to protect Jerry, and Harvey making jokes at the same time.
